TICKET ARCHIVE -> Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Tiger

I was running Panther with Acrobat Distiller 6.0 and making pdf files a lot. Then, I installed Tiger and now my Distiller won't make pdfs any more. I get a default message: "PDFLib won't initialize." What is causing this problem? Will this be solved by installing Acrobat 7.0? (I just ordered it)

How did you install Tiger? Did you do an archive/install? If you did, check Adobe's website. There's two files still in your "Previous System Folder" (if you haven't deleted it yet) which are needed for most Adobe programs to work. You have to manually put them in the right place; I just don't remember which two it was.

Reinstalling either Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (and the updates) or Acrobat 7.0 (download the update to 7.0.7 also) will fix the problem as well.
