I am connecting an ibook to my DSL wireless connection thru a Linksys router. Has been working great, this morning I cannot connect. My signal bar is high and my base station ID is posted, on my power book I have no problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is this a new problem that just started? You may need to allow the computer to access the network, by telling the base station it's information.

Yes it just started. I have been using the wireless connection for about 6 mos w/o this problem.

Is the airport card removable? Perhaps the card is no good. Can you try to connect to another wireless network ?

yes the card is removable. Unfortunately I do not have another network to test the card on.

Is there a wireless coffee shop, Borders, or similar places around?

the is a local borders I can give them a shout. What do they charge ?
