I keep getting emails from friends with pcs using animated gifs. How can I use them too?
Also my Mac Help is blank. Where has it gone?

Howdy!
Need more details: How do you want to use the animated gifs? You can click and drag any gif or jpg image from the web or email and then use them on your own webpages, etc.
Not sure about your Mac Help. You mean the one in finder?

Hi Nathaniel,
I am trying to send animated gifs on emails to my grandsons but when I drag and drop onto my mail they become static. If I drag and drop to the desktop they turn into a file which preview opens and again are static. I have tried opening them in other progs such as Quicktime but that doesn't work either.
The Help is the one in finder.

Animated gifs only work if you have HTML turned on. If you send the .gif file to yourself with Html on you should be able to view the animation.
As for your help system, have you installed or deleted anything lately? Not sure what would make your help disappear. You can always access help by right or control clicking on the object you want help with…
Let me know…
