Description:
I have downloaded several animated objects from the web. I have been inserting them into my email to friends etc. etc. Now all of a sudden when I went to add them in my computer won't open them and says they are gif. format. How did they change and how do I change them back

Try launching your internet browser. Then go to the file menu and select "Open File". Find the animated gif file and double click on it. Your animated gif should appear and play. When I create my own gifs I use a program called gifbuilder. You can download it at:

I create the frames in Clarisworks, save them as a PICT and then use GifBuilder to animate them. Check out some of my gifs (nothing special) at:
