hey,
very quick one...
I want to be able to view all 5 of my remote machines at the same time, on one screen, and be able to click on one screen to take it over.
how do i do this?
Thanks

install OSXvnc (
http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/11283) on each machine you want to control
use Chicken of the VNC (
http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/9517) to control the computers
this is the free method, and it will do everything except I don't think you can view all 5 at once.
the other way is to buy the Apple Remote Desktop software from Apple. but that way is very expensive. but it is also faster and has more features.
so if you don't have the cash, then use OSXvnc and Chicken of the VNC. They're both really easy to use and set up.

hey dude,
I already have apple remote desktop 2.2.
I bought it last week, as i have a multi mac and pc setup.
I am having issues connecting to x86 windows machines. do you know a good client compatible with windows, that apple remote desktop likes?
Thanks

ah I see, I thought you were just considering the software. So if I understand you, the problem isn't mac to mac, but mac to pc? as in, monitoring a PC from a Mac using Apple Remote Desktop? I do know that the most recent version does offer some level of that kind of support, but it is beyond me as I haven't closely used the software. I'll re-add your question to the pool to see if anyone else knows more about the PC compatibility of Apple Remote Desktop.

Maybe you need the Terminal Server Client for Mac is fassst...
you also can find it as "Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac".
Priceless aplication.
