DESCRIPTION:

When running programs that have been loaded by cd, I get what appears to be ascii instead of text in information boxes.

Hi Mark,
A couple of things... could you let me know what programs you are getting the funny text in?
Also, did you buy this PC used? It is a first-generation Pentium 100?
It is possible someone previously changed the default font for Windows 95 by changing the properties of the dialogue boxes and text.
