A few questions:
What OS X are you running?
Do you get sound in Quicktime or other apps?
Did you just upgrade?
Have you repaired permissions and restarted your comp yet?
Have you tried other browsers?

Mac osx 10.4.10
QuickTime and other apps are fine
Had the problem for a couple of months now. Allways upgrade OSX when new update comes out.
Repaired disk permissions and it fixed a lot of flash problems. Restarted and still have a problem
Tried Safari and Mozilla only. Checked all prefs and they are all fine.
Installed latest flash player

I'm reading across the web that Flash isn't playing nice with OS X 10.4.10, iTunes and Quicktime:
(search for 10.4.10):
http://weblogs.macromedia.com/emmy/a...ncing_flas.cfm http://www.versiontracker.com/php/fe...70822020110232
Might want to find a lesser version of flash and install that, tho not 100% on that.

Looks like Flash Player 9, as of Oct. 1st, is still beta:
