I want to develop a task inside the automator to track and alert the anniversary dates of my fellows. But the address book inside the automator does not seem to work.

I cannot find a way to connect contact info found in Address Book, such as a note containing "anniversary," to the creation of an iCal event that will let you keep track of such a date. So, I suggest you create all-day iCal events for each anniversary and set them to repeat annually. Wouldn't it be cool if someone would rewrite the Birthday Calendar to track anniversaries similarly.
