Description:
A friend of mine with a PC often sends email with picture attachments that are encoded in base64. I have tried to view them with either JPEGView and Image Converter but neither one will work. Any suggestions on any other apps or is there mayge some change in preferences I can do ???

Thanks

Mark,
First thing you need is a base64 decoder. At one time there was a utility "YA-Base64" that does a reasonable job. However, I currently can't find it on the Internet. There should be others "MIMEconvert" may work, but, I haven't tried it.

After the file has been decoded, you'll be able to view it with whatever tools you have. If you are looking for a good one check out GraphicConverter:

Good Luck,
