TICKET ARCHIVE -> bluetooth wireless keyboard and crashing

i recently bought a mac wireless keyboard and d-link usb plug-in for my ibook g4.(osx10.4) Initial set up and use of keyboard went fine. next time i went to use it there was no response when i typed on keyboard. (yes everything was on and happy). So, I went up to the bluetooth icon to turn it off and then try turning it on again. when i clicked on it (off) the coloured ball starting rolling.....I tried restart button and it froze there, so had to do the three stroke forced restart. It has happened several times and other times not. What is going on here?
my technical level is pretty basic
