Can anyone tell me how I can set up my calendar to either send me an e-mail or pop up on my desk top when I have a doctor's appointment or something as such. I am using Tiger.
Any help would be appreciated.

Joe,
On the drawer on the right, when you select an item in iCal, there should be an 'alarm' section, where you can set up either an email or a popup message alarm. If you can;t see the drawer (or if you don't know what I mean for that matter), click on the 'i' icon on the far bottom right corner of the iCal window.
Please let me know if you find it or not.
