I have two Apple G3 and G4 .
I have problem with both!
For prevent confusing, first I will talk about my G3 problem.
Recently I have succesfully done reset my password.
(with your team help).
After solving password, I have installed new system version 10.3.
Then I installed "Adobe Creative Suite"
(Photoshop and Illustrator CS).
After finishing this proccess, I double click to open these programms but the icon just appear in to menu box and then disappear!!
On the "Adobe Creative Suite" CD disk, say:
need Version 10.2, 10.1.2 .. but did not mention
version 10.3
So do you think the problem is because of that?
Do I need to install old version 10.2 ?
Sorry for long explenation!
Thanks in advance
Zoe
By the way your Checking Spelling botton does not work.
Sorry for my mis spelling

For the Adobe Photoshop etc they will probably need more RAM and system specks than your little G3 will put out.
Can you please have a look on the Adobe site and see what the system specks are. Also what type, model G3 do you have?
We are aware that the site is alittle munched at the moment. There is a new site in the making which we hope will be much better.
Now what was the issue with the G4? And please tell me what type of G4 you have.

Hmm
I think your problem on the G4 is the fact that you have nortons installed.
Although Nortons (Symantec) do make some good software you are effictly stuffed if it goes wrong!
I think the best thing to do is to re-install Mac OS X.
You can however save your files. What you need is a Firewire cable (AKA "IEEE1394 6P to 6P"). You can usually get these fairly cheeply. They are the cables that originally came out with the original iPods.
You then connect one cable to the First Firewire port of your G4. Then connect the other end to a firewire port on the G3.
Turn your G4 on and hold down the "T" key. This will boot your computer into whats called "Target Mode" or "Firewire Mode". Boot your G3 and you will see that the drive of your G4 is mounted on the desktop. From there you can copy the files accross (The one's you need anyway) and pt them on your G3 or an external drive.
Then procede to do a clean install of Mac OS X (See:
http://www.apple.com/support/tiger/install/ )
As for the G3 I'll have to look for the specifications for the Adobe software.
