I just got a new printer for my iMac. Had to upgrade to OS X 10.3.2 in order for it to work. Did that. How do I convert my old System 9.2 files to open them in OS X? I can't print anything from my old files (aaarrrggh!).

And how do I transfer my address book and email files from the old system to the new one?

I only use my Mac for emailing, writing, and surfing. In other words, I'm not sophisticated. Please help!!

Really, before anything else, you should run Software Update (Apple menu) and update to the latest versions of system software (OS X, QuickTime, etc.).

In terms of your files and data, what applications were you using under OS 9? That's important because when you import contacts or email, you'll need to tell Address Book and Mail, respectively, what type of data to import from.
