TICKET ARCHIVE -> Can't install Broadband CD (Talk Talk)

Dear Mac Support,

Recently I have registered for Broad Band Talk Talk and when I have received the pack, I've tried to install the programm but this massage came up. " Sorry , Expander requires Stufflt Engine 8.0.0 or later. Please reinstall from the original installer."
Could you please help me to solve this problem?

Hi and welcome to macosx.com

I would suggest you to download (and install) the latest free Expander from here
http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html
The free Expander is enough for unzipping .sit/.sitx archives


Note that the download requires a valid email adress to send you the final URL for downloading...little paranoid personalities at Allume...so if you ar familar with disposable email adress, give them a disposable one you can suppress after downloading... to stop following commercial emails

Hi Philippe
Thanks for your help. I finally download the Stuffit Expander and installed to my computer.
But I am afraid still I can not install Broadband sowtware.
When I double click the icon this massage come up:
" The destination folder "Mac osx 10.1-10.3 is on a locked volum. Please choose another destination."
I opened the Mac info and under details unlocked the icon which say system, but still did not work!
