TICKET ARCHIVE -> Can't Install Windows Media Player

I downloaded the windows media player 9 on the windows page/versiontracker page and I can't open the file that is downloaded called 'windows media.sitx'
my OS x 10.4.3 (on my brand new power book G4) can't open the file... it asks me about a program to start it with...
what's the problem? can't I use windows media player on my computer? do you know of an alternative to windows media player (to open .wma-files)?

.sitx is a stuffit file, you will need to download Stuffit Expander from Alume. This is a free download from http://www.stuffit.com/index.php.
