Have new mac book 2gb duo core 160 gb and parrells loaded. Put in windows xp64 and would not load wrong chip message. Is there a patch/load to get this to work or must I go back and get a 32 bit vesion?

64-bit operating systems are not supported in any virtualized environment, as far as I know
So, you can't use XP64 with Parallels.
Here's a list of supported OSes with Parallels.

You could also try contacting Parallels support for a good answer.
