Dear, I have G3 Powerbook lastest edition (2000/400Mhz) with Mac OS 9.22 runing

I was buying this caues its enough for me at the moment - I just wanna use Office and Photoshop mobile and play some DVD´s...

after trying to get some fonts I realized that I have to get suffit, what I downloaded ...

then I realized that it needs CarbonLib 1.6...

so I downloaded CarbonLib 1.6 german version on this page:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120047

.... but the file there is just a bin and I get the message that it needs CarbonLib 1.6 to open :-)

so where to find a file witch works?

I guess its fast to answer, if someone knows it or someone remembers the MacOs9 times...

Thanx

Stuffit Expander is probably trying to open the .bin file. You can download the CarbonLib .smi disk image from my iDisk and be happy.

"Mistake 39 could not be open"

Is that exactly the error message you received? I've never seen the Mac OS use the word "mistake."

Wait, what file are you talking about copying to your PowerBook and starting? Were you able to open the CarbonLib 1.6.smi disk image? Did you run the software installation application on the disk?

I need more information about what you did and what messages you received to help you further.

Since I have CarbonLib 1.6.1 in my System Folder (for the now I-can't-remember-when times when I might need to start up in Classic), I've stuffed it and created a self-extracting archive. Download it and let me know.
