TICKET ARCHIVE -> Circle With a Line Throught It

When I start up my G4 QS I get a circle with a line throught it. Whats that mean? ALso, can I put PC 100 sdram in my quicksilver 867mhz?

It means that your OS is botched. get your restore cd's and reinstall. and...NO you cannot put PC100 SDRAM in your quicksilver, PC133 only.

Ok - I just got your post and I'm up and running after I . . .
Zapped the pram
unpluggged and pushed the "cuda button"
checked ALL connections
I tried to start from OS X Disk 1 (Panther) by holding down the "c" key and it booted. I noticed that it booted up, NOT using the Panther disk and one of my drives was missing ( I have 3 total). The missing drive is one I've been having trouble with. I shut down, disconnected it and restarted. So far no problems. I'm holding my breath!
