Description:
After downloading I.E. 4.5 and installing it. I'm experiencing that when I'm at a website and clicking on a link within that site, I now have to first click once and nothing happens or I get the message "Network error -3208". When I click the second time I get to my destination. Why am I not able to get there on the first click as I was before?

Thanks for your assistance.

Bill

Hello Bill,

Unfortunately there is no solution that you or I have control over for Network Errors, generally speaking. In some cases you do find that you have to firmly hold your cursor on the "link" and scroll to the OPEN LINK statement whereas on other sites you can simply click lightly on the blue line of the link and it immediately responds. There is no ready answer other than some web site servers are probably better able to handle massive onslaughts of "surfers" than others.

Are there any particular web sites where this seems to happen most of the time. If so, name a couple and I will be glad to see if I have the same problem from my two Macs.
