Hello there again,
As mentioned in the previous question, I cannot remember my iChat/AIM password and I have been trying to get through to AOL about that, they have no help whatsoever!...
So, AIM won't let me change anything, they won't accept hadron_ca@yahoo.ca as my screen name, and when it does get through, they refer me to yahoo for help! I tried to change my screen name to be able to eventually change my password and that doesn't help. Mac says that I should be able to change iChat information in the accounts area under preferences but all I get is a screen with a login and password field.
Is there a way I can completely disable the account and start again? Can I reboot iChat somehow? Or disable it and start again?

Hi Cherise

Go into this folder;

user>library>preferences

There are several iChat files. Delete them all. Then you should be able to setup again.

hadron_ca@yahoo.ca won't be a valid AOL/AIM screen name.
