I have been trying very unsuccessfully to copy video ts files to a dvd. In searching various forums I have read that I need to first use a program like dvd backup to remove unnecessary files, then burn with toast titanium. I am running a mac g5 dual (FYI). Every time I try this it will play just fine on my mac using vlc (with all menus working correctly) but wont play in our dvd player at all. It wont go to any screen on the dvd player, it says reading.... dvd.... then stop. Our dvd player plays copied vcd/svcd's all the time with no problem. What am I doing wrong?

Kimberly,

I don't believe you can just copy TS files to a DVD and expect it to work on a DVD player. There is a good explanation on copying DVDs here: http://www.dvd2one.com/howtouse.php?...34297a183af87e using Toast or Disk Utility, DVD2one and Mac the Ripper.
