Description:
I have Desktop Pictures, JPEGs and GIFs that I would like to make Startup Screens out of, but have been told startup screens use PICT files only. Is there a way to covert these pictures to PICT files or a workaround? I've searched around and seen a few programs for download that MIGHT convert formats, but I don't know which to pick. Oh, and yes I named the file correctly and put it in my system folder (the first thing people ask me). Thanks!

Hi Scott,

I would recommend the shareware program GraphicConverter. You can convert most graphic files to startup screens or many other graphic formats. Go to Version Tracker and do a search for it, they will send you where you need to go to download it.

Good luck and have fun.
