Description:
I have just received a .dcx email attachment that I can not open with either Stuffit Expander or MindExpander. I need to know what utillity will open this type of file and where I might find this utility.

Hi Richard -

the DCX is actually a file name extension. dcx stands for Bitmap graphics
(Multipage PCX - many faxes). You should try to open this file with an
application named GraphicConverter. You should not have to decompress the file.

Not much is none on this type of file quite honestly, however some applications
do support it. It is fairly old and was apparently used with Windows 3.11.
Don't despair, even though you're on a mac you can open it - again with
GraphicConverter.
