I accidently deleted Address Book on my G4 MDD running system 10.3.9. Fortunately, I have an up to date copy on my new Macbook running system 10.4.10. My question is- what must I do to reinstate Address Book on my G4 by copying it from my Macbook? I've already tried copying the Address Book application from the Macbook to a portable hard drive and then on to the G4, but when I double-click the copied application on the G4 nothing happens. Is there a fairly easy way to copy Address Book from my Macbook onto my G4 thus preserving all my contact info for use on the G4?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer with this problem.

Your contact data aren't stored inside the Address Book application. They're in the AddressBook folder in ~/Library/Application Support. Copy that folder on the MacBook to the same place on the G4 and you should be good to go.
