When I run the disk utility to check the hard drive it tell me I have an Invalid Leaf Count (it should be 21 instead of 239)
After the repair is finished it says the volume was repaired successfully.
I ran it again to see if the findings were different the second time but I got the same findings about the invalid leaf count but the volume was repaired successfully the second time too.
I did the repair 3 times and still got the findings about the leaf count being invalid.
I would think if the volume was repaired successfully it wouldn't be finding a problem with the leaf count, whatever that is.
Hi Jim
If Disk Utility won't repair the drive, you can either get DiskWarrior;
http://www.alsoft.com
and use that to repair, or backup and reformat the drive.
In any case, you should backup anything important right away.

I ran Disk Warrior Bob but got the same results with Disk Utility when I ran it again.
Jim
I would backup your files then reformat the drive.
After doing that check with Disk Utility again. If you still get the errors, replace the drive.

Jim
It's part of the directory structure of the disk.

you'd think DW would repair that but it didn't even say there was a problem
