I've recently bought mac book with macosx. Previously I used to use windows XP and Vista
I've been experiencing difficulties getting started with macosx. I don't know how to have several simultaneous windows opened
For instance, I would like to have several windows for the browser, one more for office word, another one say for email client and so on. But I can't manage to do this.
I also don't know how to do page up and page down
Finally, i don't know how to change screen resolution
Maybe these are silly questions. Maybe these have already answered several times before. Is there any FAQ I can consult before sending you the questions?
Thanks

I'm not clear on your difficulty with multiple windows. Generally, you'd use the File > New command to spawn new windows, documents, etc. Each is tied to a particular application (Finder, Word, Safari, Mail, etc.) whose menus dynamically appear on the menubar at the top of the screen when each is active.
On your MacBook, Page Up and Page Down are fn+Up and fn+Down.
Change resolution in the Displays pane of System Preferences (in Applications and the Apple menu). Be sure to explore the rest of System Preferences to find out what else you can do to customize your Mac experience.
You might want to browse Apple's
Mac 101 tutorials.
