-1- every time i down load a program. i t down loads but when i double click on it to open it the file opens in the itunes.

-2- i have a nokia 9300 and i'm connecting the usb cable but my computer is not connecting. do you have a program i can down load.

-1- Which OS are you using, what kind of program are you downloading?
-2- What do you want to do with the Nokia?

Hi Allan


-1- Mac OS X 10.3.9 system. I'm trying to download Ares or Limewire Music Download. How do i do this and stop it from going to iTune.

-2- I need the program to download information from my Nokia 9300 onto my Mac when i plug in my USB cable my Mac does not recognise it.

David,

-1- have you unchecked the 'Open "safe" files after downloading' box in Safaris General Preferences tab? If not, do this and select a place to 'Save downloaded files to:' . After downloading, ctrl-click on the file and choose the application to open the file with from the 'Open With' pop-up menu.

-2- You probably need software not installed on your Mac to connect. There are a couple of applications: PocketMac http://www.pocketmac.net/ and Missing Sync http://www.markspace.com/ but see if there is a test version before buying and make sure your device is supported!
