TICKET ARCHIVE -> Downloaded Applicaions wont open

I downloaded Macpar to useto extract rar files and i cannot open the program. there is just a white blank page and underneath it says MacPardeluxe-1.dmg.sit on my desktop. i have tried downloading multple times from different locations and each time it wont open. How do i get the program to open and work?

I presume you're using Tiger, the first version of Mac OS X not to include Stuffit Expander. You need to download and install Stuffit to open this archive. You can pick up a standalone installer for the app at:
ftp://ftp.allume.com/pub/mac/StuffIt..._x_install.dmg

To avoid this step, though it may be useful in the future, try RAR Expander or UnRarX instead. Neither download requires Stuffit.
