We have had are Macbook for about three months. My wife is used to windows and so am i. We are both having an easy time swithching to the Mac. I Love it, but every since i downloaded firefox which i am not using, me and only me out of four user is the only one having a problem downloading anything. Every time i try to download it acts like its going to start but nothing. Everyone else is having no problem. When i download nothing happens not even in the download screen. I have my selection set up to download desktop. I can't get new widgets or anything only my user is having this problem. Please help, and tell me what i may have done or switch unknowingly. Travis S

Sorry for the delayed responce busy. Yes, I have been able to acces the internet, and still can. Everything for that account works. I just can go to the mac site or any site for that matter and download anything. I was able, downloaded some new dashbords, firefox, a couple games to demo. Then one day nothing, just on that user. There are four on the computer. Just that one user can't download. Everything seems to be the same.

Travis,
Do you have the same result while using Safari as you are having in Firefox? Not being able to download?
It sounds like to me a problem with the destination directory. When you look at the Downloads Window in each browser, what do you see? Just a bunch of uncompleted downloads?
You don't have any other utilities installed like Download Managers or Accelerators on your account?
