I just recently got OS X 10.4 Tiger for my Powerbook G4 and when I went to install my Dreamweaver MX 2004 it says it has installed, but the application won't open. The symbol appears in the bottom menu bar and bounces a few times, then disappears before I can enter a registration number or anything. Why won't it install?
Hi,
I just bought Macromedia Contribute, and I also have Tiger and the same happened. I asked the Apple Store and they said, that most Macromedia products bought before January 2006 arent compatible with Tiger. You will need to return it. On the Contribute Website it states:
Mac OS 10.2.8 and later, or 10.3.4
So I understand why it wont run with Tiger, but Dreamweaver already announced a version with Tiger, it even says on the website, Mac OS 10.3, 10.4 . So you must have bought a not Tiger compatible version.
Hope this is understandable,
Thanks,
Ferdinand
