TICKET ARCHIVE -> Dreamweaver2 Won't Install on Mac OS X

Just bought Dw2 and it won't load properly, it gives me this message when I try to install it: you cannot open the program dreamweaver 2 because it is not supported on this system. Is there anything I can do/ download to get it to work? Thanks!

I was speechless for a moment there. Where did you find a copy of Dreamweaver 2? It's now a decade old, from before Mac OS X was released, let alone the inkling of Intel processors in Macs. I'm mystified.

Did you read the system requirements before you bought it? Am I misunderstanding something? The most recent version of Dreamweaver was part of Adobe Creative Suite 3, released a year ago. That's probably the only version of the application that will install and run on your MacBook.

I bought it on eBay. I just assumed it would work, I was looking for something low cost, basic. I have an old version of Dw on my husband's PC but I wanted a version for my Mac. I guess I didn't do my research. Thanks for your input.
