I tried duplicating a Music CD to a new blank CD by:
1. inserting the Music CD, then copying its contents in my HD.
2. I used Disk Utility to get the files into the Dialogue Box of the "Burner"
3. Burn CD.
However, when I tried to play it on my CD Player, the new copy didn't play.
What's wrong?

hi Jose,
it is better using itunes to burn music cds
cause : music cds have a specific format (iso9660) with AIFF files only, disk utility burns with Mac data cd format (hfs+), cd music players don't recognize such cd format.
try this:
open itunes
insert music cd
import in itunes (aiff format or aac format, mp3 is more destructive)
create a play list with your musics to burn
go to itunes preferences to verify cd burn format is to audio cd (music cd)
now clic on burn button (upper right corner of itunes window)
that's it
regards,
françois

burning dvd's ?
two possible answers;
1/you create a dvd vith Idvd, you can burn with it
2/if you want to copy an existing dvd, you must have a non Apple app; like Roxio Popcorn or Roxio Toast (new version 7) :
webpage for Toast :
http://www.roxio.com/en/products/toa...ures_key.jhtml
webpage for popcorn:
http://www.roxio.com/en/products/popcorn/features.jhtml
