I'm not sure I understand your question. Did you download an .img file via Limewire and want to burn it? If so, mount it and then control/click on it and choose "Burn."

Thank you for your reply. I am attempting to take a downloaded .avi movie file from Limewire and burn to a blank dvd disk. I cannot find the downloaded file anywhere in my "shared" folder in OS X. When I go to that folder there is nothing showing, it is blank. And yet my "library" folder in Limewire shows everything there. I can play the movie no problem on my IMAC but I was hoping to put on a dvd disk so I could play on a TV. I am stuck on what to do. On my pc it is no problem to drag and drop a file to the burner but with Mac it is a big headache. I have the superdrive and have copied cd's and then burnt them no problem but to burn a file from Limewire has got me stumped.

Locate the file using Spotlight. If you want to burn it to a DVD, then control/click on it to burn it using System X's own burn options. I prefer Toast because it's more flexible, but it's not necessary for what you are trying to do.
HTH.

I just figured it out. I understand how to drag and drop now. Thank you very much for your help.
