Looking for a solution to burn a multisession DVD

What do you mean with "multisession" DVD?

I would like to burn more than one session on a DVD : multi-session, what can be done easily with a CD.

You would need to buy a re-writeable DVD, and your computer must be "Superdrive", which means that it can burn DVDs as well, and not only CDs. You can burn DVDs (one session or more) with iDVD, that comes bundled in iLife.

What I wanna do is to use a DVD as a back up for digital photos.?

Therefore I need a multisession solution which enable to use the same DVD till full.


I don't think thar iDVD can be used to burn data.

Then you would need iPhoto. Are you already using iPhoto?
If Yes:
Go to the "Share" Menu, then to Burn. First select the album you wish to burn (or the whole library).
If Not:
Open the folder where all your photos are in. Drag them into iPhoto.
Then do the steps written above.
If iPhoto is not what you want, or if you want a different photographing software, go to www.versiontracker.com and then to Mac. Search for a Photography Application. It is also useful for other things.
