I can't erase my DVD+RW disc.
I've burnt and erased this disc a couple of times now to copy movies for viewing on a TV and it's worked just fine.
This last time I burnt the DVD as usual and watched the movie I had burnt on over the weekend. When I tried to erase it and copy another movie to it this time it wouldn't let me erase.
-I checked out Info. for the Ownerships & Permissions it said "You can only read"
I verified and repaired my permissions in case that was the problem but still wouldn't erase.
I had actually used 3 of these disc to load movies onto and none of them would erase.

Are you using your Disk Utility to do the erase, or some other software? Always try Disk Utility first. As you know, the erase process takes a long time.
The RW disks can be very vulnerable to damage. If the erase fails, or simply doesn't finish, then your RW disk is likely bad. Find a handy trash can (rubbish bin), and let it go.

Hi Delta, I don't know what has happened but I thought I would try to erase my 3 discs again and this time it worked like it is supposed to.
I am in the process of transferring a movie to one of them again using Tivo Transfer and Toast.
Hopefully this problem has solved itself .
Thanks for the suggestions.
