TextWrangler should be able to help you view dvi files.

Unless - you are not asking about dvi files, but some type of video files?
dvi files are not video files at all, but are files produced by TeX.

Ah - OK!
Then are you maybe referring to AVI files (not DVI, which is a hardware interface for displays, and not a type of video)

Everything you ever wanted to know about DVI (maybe too much!)
http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html

A video format, such as AVI, can usually be viewed with your QuickTime viewer, often with a plugin added, such as Perian - http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/perian.html

or Flip4Mac - http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...quicktime.html

Among those 3, you can view a lot of different types of video files.
But, it would help if you can tell what type of video file you have, and DVI does not accurately describe any type of video file.
