I have been using the mac mail program to send and receive emails but want to start using entourage on office for mac as it is a more comprehensive email program.Is there any way i can tie in the apple address book to entourage as then i can keep the photo and birthday recognition function on my calendar as i will have to use the calender in office

But first, can you clarify: You'd like to have identical access to your email in both Apple Mail, Apple Address Book, and Microsoft Entourage, right? What is your email account now? Your internet companies (ie. yahoo, aol, cox, comacst...) or one on your own server (yourname@yourname.com)?

Hi Leonard.At present i use apple mail but am going to change to entourage because it seems to be a more comprehensive program but i would still like to keep apple address book because you can store contacts photos and birthdays which i believe you can't do with the address book in entourage. my email address at present is with my own server. once i switch over to entourage i won't need to use apple mail

Hi-

Sorry about the confusion. If, once you make the switch from Apple Mail to Entourage and not use both at the same time (which is possible, but would take more explanation), you can sync your apple addressbook with entourage.

Plaxo.com allows you to sync address books with webmail, apple mail, entourage, microsoft outlook email, etc. Give that a look. Is this what you need?
