Hello Joyce and Welcome to No Wonder!
It simply means the the file size exceeds the limits allowed by SimpeText. You can open it with any other text editor you have. I'd recommend BBEdit Lite, it can be found at Http://www.download.com. It's free and uses very little memory and hard disk space.
