I have been trying to find the server connection details on my laptop so my nephew can use them and log on to my connection with his own PC laptop. I am using safari and mail, and all I do to connect is plug in the modem line connection and boot safari. I can't find the IP address its using anywhere!

You need to look either in the Network pane of System Preferences or the Internet Connect application.
