Whenever I boot up the computer Flash Player will not function
in Firefox unless I quit the browser and reinstall Flash Player.

It will play with Safari however. If I've done something in my user files, I don't know what it is.

I went to disc utility and repaired permissions as suggested. This did not resolve the problem.

Need some more info:

1. Your version of firefox
2. Your version of flash installed
3. Your version of Tiger installed (10.4.What?)

What sites are you going to?

You could try booting in Safe Mode and repairing there.

- Reboot, hold command + s till you see black screen with white text
- type fsck -fy into the prompt
- type reboot when activity finishes.

It's a little unrelated, but search for 'flash' on this page (looks like flash has a problem validating input):
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307041

Search for 'flash' here too. Looks like the 10.4.11 update was supposed to fix a flash security issue and your update may not have taken hold correctly:
http://www.macnn.com/articles/07/11/...0411.released/

And you've got a powerful enough computer so it's probably not that:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashp...fo/systemreqs/

Let me know if Safe Mode helps fix it.
