DESCRIPTION:

Please explain to me how floppy's work. Can I keep
inserting the same one in for back-up. How do I know when
one is full. Can I accidently back up over previous info.
How can I delete a floppy and use it again. I can only
compare them to a tape that is used in a tape player. How
much info can be stored on a floppy. Can you buy them
in different sizes. Thank you. Please let me know all about
a floppy disc. I can't find anything in my computer books.

Smyth:

Floppy disk only hold 1.44 mb worth of information. You will be prompted that you do not have enough disk space and you will also be prompted if you are about to overwrite your previous information. The sizes for floppies are 5¼ and 3½. With 3½ being the most common (and it has a harder cover then does 5¼).

Hope this helps,
James Kelley
