Font Issue with Widgets

My widgets seem to be using the wrong font. It appears to be a helvetica font,
however the numbers on the stock widget and calendar widget for example are overflowing their boundaries...solutions?

Try reinstalling fonts as described here:

Yes, I use Linotype's Font Explorer...

I suspect that this problem could be related to the launch order of the login items. The Autoload daemon is set to launch first, but the application is set to launch last. And I can find no simple way to reorder the login items (I believe this is a longstanding bug in Tiger). Maybe the application is autolaunching too late and somehow screwing up the avilailability of fonts needed by Dashboard. I have no idea why that should be the case when the Autoload daemon is launching first and presumably taking care of all font activations. But this would appear to be a bug in FontExplorer X or the way it handles auto activation on login. My fix, for now, is not to let it autolaunch on login. So far, that has worked flawlessly.

To summarize, try removing LFE from the login items.
