TICKET ARCHIVE -> forgot my login password for my mac

i cannot log on to my computer cause i forgot my login password how can i correct this problem??????

Boot to your installer DVD (the grey disk that shipped with your Macbook)
If you are not sure how to do that -
Insert the DVD in your drive.
Restart your MacBook, holding the letter C on the keyboard.
You will see a screen 'select a language', click continue.
At the next screen, choose 'Change Password' from the Utilities menu at the top of the screen.
Choose your hard drive, then select your user account name from the drop-down list, then type in your new password (twice), then click Save. Then you can Quit the installer - you don't need to continue with the system reinstall. Enter your password at the login screen. And - there you go (I hope you choose a password that you don't forget so easily
)
