TICKET ARCHIVE -> G4 Indesign CS2 running too slow

Hi,
I am currently using a G4 to run Indesign CS2, When I am working in Indesign CS2 it is extremely slow in reloading the documents, could you please tell me what is the minimum requirements to run CS2 or what could be the problem with my machine? My machine is 933Mhz Power PC G4. Anything that may help.

Hi! I need to know how much RAM you have and how your InDesign docs are built and what placed images are in them. Also, are you working from your computer directly or a server?

Here's the InDesign CS2 requirements page:

256 or greater RAM recommended. I always like to have 1GB RAM in whatever computer I'm using for best performance.

Have you repaired permissions lately? Sometimes just doing that and a restart gets things going again: apps/utilities/disk utility/repair permissions
