Description:
I have a Global Village Gold II modem and an Apple Performa 5200 computer. I mainly use it to send and receive faxes in my business. It works perfect 90% of the time. However, 10% of the time, it has compatibility problem with certain fax machines and will never be able to send to or receive from certain those machines. The modem is bundled with the Apple Performa computer. Apple says it is problem with Global Village. Global Village says it is bundled with Apple and therefore is Apple's problem. After I paid to talk to technical support at Global Village, the only answer is that their modem works perfect. I have another Apple Performa 5260 computer with a Global Village Platinum modem. It has the identical problem. Could you kindly suggest some cure ? Merry X'mas.

Hello Ron Leung ,
this is a probleme that has to do with the fax that recieves your message.
Not with your mac or modem.
Not all the normal faxes work well with Global Village modems and modems in generale.
