Description:
Would there be anything built into the above described system to convert graphics? The only graphics applications I have are Clarisworks and Adobe PhotoDeluxe(not Photoshop). Do I need to purchase "Lemke's"Graphic Converter?" Is there a better program?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Dear Fran,

GraphicConverter from LemkeSoft is the most affordable and most powerful tool for converting graphics for one format to another. Other applications that do it, such as MicroFrontier's Color It! and Adobe's Photoshop cost a whole lot more, and don't have as complete a set of translators. By converting I assume you mean transforming a JPG to a PICT to a TIFF to an Amiga file, etc. Neither ClarisWorks nor Photodeluxe will do these things. GraphicConverter is freely downloadable as shareware, but for $25 it's the right thing to do to register. Fortunately, though, the full feature set is enabled in the free version, so you can try everything out before you buy it. The current version is 3.2.1.

Hope that helps.
