I'd like to know how I can make a guesbook. I don't like the ones that are available for free but have ads above or below the guestbook. I really want to know how to make one for myself. I much appreciate your help in advance.

To make a guestbook for yourself, you will need to learn Perl or another language you can write CGI scripts in. You will also need a server that allows you to make CGI Scripts. You can find a book on Perl at http://yggdrasil.com/~rdm/MP/015.Contents.html.
