Description:
I have two intermittent problems which may be related. 1. Sometimes the screen is dark at start-up. I can still see text, icons etc. It usually lightens up to normal after a few minutes. Started about 3 weeks ago.
2. When I pull down menus, I can't always get down to the the item I wish to select before something else opens. Though I hold the mouse button down, it acts as though I had let it go earlier. Started about 1 week ago.

Both your problems are surely hardware problems, and the only way to fix that is to drag your Mac to the repair guy... byt maybe your mouse problem can be fixed with a little cleaning ? Hope the best... // Paul
