I recently purchased a new iMac. Dual Core intel based iMac running OSX Leopard. I want my old Handspring Visor Deluxe to run on my new computer. I can't install the software.

I successfully downloaded the appropriate software from palm.com (MacDesktop 4.0) but it stops partway through the installation and says "installation incomplete." Just for the heck of it, I restarted the computer and tried to hotsync the Visor, but as expected, it didn't work.

I've searched the palm.com site, but they don't seem to address this issue. I've searched this site as well, but didn't find anything helpful.

Can you help me get my old Handspring Visor Deluxe to work properly with my new iMac? Thanks!

John

The good Missing Sync software specifically does not support the Visor deluxe.
I did some searching, and couldn't find anything that could give you any encouragement. You should post at the main forums pages at this site, where more users have the possibility of answering your question.
