COMPUTER TYPE: Quantex
MODEL: Pentium 166
RAM: 24meg
OS VERSION: Windows 95

DESCRIPTION:
When booting the computer I receive the message "Hard Disk Fail # 20" It sometimes boots but I cannot do anything from there after about ten minutes. Is there a cure for this or do I need to purchase a new hard drive?? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.
RE
If you haven't run the scandisk yet, you should. But i'm sure you did, so the only logical solution (for me anyway) is to format the disk and reinstall the system. If you still get the error you should consider buying a new disk, but until then it's worth figuring out what the hack is wrong with the disk, so you at least know if it was a software glitch or a hardware one.
Hope that helps abit.
